Cindy Allen, the charismatic editor-in-chief of Interior Design Magazine, has announced the winners of this year’s Best of Year Awards. We are delighted to have won twice. The Wuxi MixC Mall won in the ‘Retail Mall’ category and our Continental Headquarters is the best ‘Large Corporate Office’. In addition, the Beiersdorf Campus (Extra Large Corporate Office) and our new office in Shanghai (Firm’s Own Office) are proud honorees of the competition.

Last week, Callwey Verlag hosted the BEST OF ARCHITECTURE Summit in Munich. An inspiring programme of talks was followed by the award ceremony for the publisher’s architecture prizes. Nadine Batz, our Project Manager for ‘Baumhaus’, and Markus Schmidt, Project Director Workplace, were on stage for the Best Workspaces awards. Here we won with our Ritter Sport Schokozentrale (‘Auszeichnung’) and the Treehouse office for the HassiaGruppe (‘Anerkennung’ + cover of the book!). We were also selected for the ‘Best of Interior’ award with our Casa Mosaico.

The latest proof of our office expertise are four awards and nominations: Ritter Sport won the ‘Commercial Interior Design of the Year 2024’ award at the INT Interior Design Awards and is shortlisted in the ‘Large Office’ category at the FRAME Awards 2024. Our headquarters for DAX-listed companies Continental and Beiersdorf are nominated for Best Workspaces 2025 by Callwey Verlag.

Our Ritter Sport Schokozentrale project has won Gold in the iF Design Award 2024, the highest distinction in the competition. Only 75 of the 11,000 entries received this coveted Gold award. The jury explained its decision as follows, “Ritter Sport’s office environment is a fantastic example of a modern, agile workplace that elegantly conveys the company’s ethos, heritage and brand strategy. The focus on employee wellbeing, collaboration and sustainability is evident in the choice of materials, in the use of colour and in the interplay of open and secluded spaces. It’s as bright and magical as only a chocolate factory can be.”

In addition to the Gold award, our Poggenpohl Shanghai Experience Centre and Casa Mosaico de Belas Artes projects each won a iF Design Award.

We’re delighted to announce that we have won two awards for our projects submitted to Interior Design Magazine’s Best of Year Awards (BOY): one for our Huanan MixC One Mall (in the Shopping Mall category) and the other for our Ritter Sport Schokozentrale (in the Large Corporate Office category).

The winners of this year’s FRAME awards have been announced – and we are amongst them! Our poetic brand space for Walter Knoll at Milan Design Week 2022 won the Trade Fair Stand of the Year category. Many thanks to the grand jury who selected our project! We are thrilled to quote jury member Serge Haelterman, Creative Director at Creneau International: “A marriage of poetry and sustainability. Well done!” The Rimessa dei Fiori was the venue for Walter Knoll once again this year. And who knows, maybe we’ll meet up again there soon?
