To ensure smooth and efficient workflows, and to provide visitors with a reception counter that helps them to find their way around the imposing foyer, we placed a multifunctional control point in the centre of the space. With its circular shape, the reception counter signals maximum responsiveness to all sides. Moreover, its open design language emanates transparency and has an inviting effect. Inside are a total of ten workstations for service staff, all optimally illuminated by a circular lighting ring. The reception counter is thus less of a bottleneck, and more of a central hub between the cloakrooms, the stairways leading to the conference rooms and assembly halls, and the entrance to the exhibition halls. It is covered with displays in all directions, which can be used to display tailored content, as required.
