The memorable name of the practice is incorporated in a figurative mark in the form of a "W", which also functions as an informative symbol of a tooth. This comparatively simple figurative mark is both necessary as a marker for "This is a dentist" in the street scene and is also prescribed by the legal regulations of the dentists' guilds. Doctors are not allowed to advertise without restrictions. The appearance for weissraum has set an example here in the regional environment of Munich dentists in its consistency and consistency.

An Interdisciplinary Approach Creates Identity with a Healthy Bite.
weissraum Dental surgery
weissraum is a new dental practice in Munich’s Neuhausen-Nymphenburg district. Our task was to name the dental practice, design the interior and develop visual communication measures as part of an holistic concept. The overriding aim was to do justice to the practice’s specialisation in aesthetic dentistry and dental surgery, as well as to its positioning as »your local dentist«. »weissraum« dental practice displays a distinct, modern interior architecture, which is both natural and warm, while honouring the historical building substance in a very special way. Although the rooms appear transparent, great emphasis has been placed on discretion, thus counteracting a possible threshold fear on the part of the patient.
The corporate design was awarded the Corporate Design Prize in 2010.
The overriding aim was to do justice to the practice’s specialisation in aesthetic dentistry and dental surgery, as well as to its positioning as »your local dentist«.
Comfortable at the dentist? It's possible!
This is also reflected by the patients, who often describe their opinion of the practice as "feeling good", "less anxiety or no unpleasant feeling" and as a "practice as you would expect today". In order to create this feeling in the run-up to a first visit, the communication relies heavily on the effect of the rooms in which the customer will later spend time, both in the waiting area and during treatment. The communication therefore works strongly with photographs of the rooms and the people who are part of the practice team. Professional information is accessible at all times - but is not the main focus. It is taken for granted.
On the one hand, the interior design had to treat the historic building stock with respect and care while still meeting the requirements of a modern practice. On the other hand, an interior design translation of the term "white space" was to be found. Upon entering the practice, "white space" is initially visible as white architecture. All walls and ceilings shine in white. The new fixtures are also kept in the name-giving color throughout and are only accentuated by a few golden surfaces that associate value.
Always discreet
An die Behandlungsräume schließt sich das Wartezimmer im Salon an, der schönste Raum der Wohnung. Weiße Vorhänge filtern hier das Tageslicht, die lilafarbene Sitzecke setzt einen wirkungsvollen Farbakzent und verleiht dem Raum eine loungeartige Atmosphäre. Der Raum kann auch für Schulungen genutzt werden. Die Praxis weissraum verfügt über eine klare, moderne, natürliche und warme Raumgestaltung, die die historische Bausubstanz in besonderer Weise berücksichtigt. Obwohl die Räume transparent wirken, wird großer Wert auf größtmögliche Diskretion gelegt und damit eventuellen Schwellenängsten der Patienten entgegengewirkt.
