Welcome. Beyond Work.

Brunner: Orgatec 2026

Why do people come to the office when they could just as easily work elsewhere? Having their own desk matters very little. What draws them in is the chance to spend time together with their colleagues in person. Today’s workplace has to offer what good hotels do so well: make people feel expected and welcome. For Brunner, we have turned this idea into an exhibition stand at Orgatec 2026 that puts hospitality at the heart of the experience.

For external guests, hospitality in the office usually starts at reception. It is the first point of call, where visitors find out where to go and what they can do. A friendly tone matters as much as a welcoming setting. In the lounge and lobby areas of the Orgatec stand, we show how these spaces can feel like a living room at home. The relaxed atmosphere works for waiting just as well as for informal conversation. Every meeting format needs its own spatial set-up, and the stand reflects this variety. Across several zones, from executive office to meeting room to workshop area, Brunner presents its portfolio for the many ways people communicate and collaborate.

Please make up my room

Modular room dividers made from FSC-certified paper zone the stand. Their soft geometry defines each area while still letting the eye roam freely across the stand. Open layouts need clear guidelines and levels of perception, a question that open-plan workspaces have to answer too. The dark paper architecture creates a fluid, organic space that invites visitors to discover and try out the collections and functions on show.

But Brunner is about more than offices and staff canteens. Its range for the gastronomy sector is extensive, so almost half of the stand is given over to a shared culinary experience. A long bar leads into a restaurant setting and a fine-dining area, all catered from a kitchen that is unusually large for an exhibition stand.

The whole stand is wrapped in a subdued mood, created by black backdrop walls, a dark suspended ceiling and carefully staged lighting. Another highlight, quite literally, is the large, amorphous cloud of paper lights, which carries the temporary architecture up onto the ceiling. A thorough styling concept adds to the atmosphere and makes each area feel more authentic.

Welcome! And “hello again!”

Brunner’s portfolio features products from well-known names on the design scene. Long-standing names include Jehs & Laub, atelier oï, Stefan Diez, osko+deichmann, along with Ippolito Fleitz Group, whose work includes the PARA VERT and the Brunner Design System.

For Orgatec 2026, three new design studios join the portfolio and are introduced alongside their products: Doshi Levien from London, Sebastian Herkner from Offenbach and Jonathan Olivares from Los Angeles. Each designer has their own showcase on the stand, right beside their products.

Planned harmony

The Brunner Design System makes sure that very element on the stand works together. Each zone has its own colour scheme, with coordinated tones, materials and finishes.

Drawing on the look of the stand and the Brunner Design System, we developed large-format lenticular wall art that creates a spatial context and picks up the palette of the furniture settings. The artworks shift as visitors move around: depending on the viewing angle, they show two colour compositions suited to the products before them. Their text casts them as a host, extending a warm welcome, wishing visitors a pleasant stay and sparking new ideas.

Have a good onward journey!

Molo paper honeycomb panels make up 80 percent of the stand’s walls. These lightweight elements fold down small, need far less material than conventional stand construction, and can go up and down quickly. After the fair, they can be reconfigured and reused again and again, in different sizes, in showrooms, at events and for brand presentations. A temporary trade fair installation becomes a modular system that can create small Brunner hospitality spaces wherever needed.

At Orgatec 2026, Brunner presents the full versatility of its products. The range shows what hospitality can look like in a workplace context, and makes an equally convincing case for its use in hotels, restaurants and residential settings.
