Drubba Allemannenhof, located on the western shore of Lake Titisee in the Black Forest, has a longstanding tradition as a boutique hotel. The vernacular architecture highlights the use of traditional craft techniques and locally sourced materials. These pre-existing principles are now very much in vogue, and they guided the redesign of the hotel’s interior to create an authentic and unforgettable guest experience. By celebrating the unique beauty of the Black Forest landscape and showcasing the skills of local artisans, the hotel redesign establishes a sense of place and connection to its community.
