The jury for the “Tophotel Newcomer Award 2024” met in mid-June. This is the 13th year that the industry award has been presented by Tophotel magazine. The award recognises the best new and newly opened hotels in the hospitality industry. The jury meeting (with Natascha Ziltz-Görgemanns, Dr Urban Uttenweiler, Michael Lidl, Martin Rahmann, Fabian Wiesler, Brit Glocke, Carolin Brauer, Anna Heuer and Peter Ippolito) was held at “Roomers Frankfurt” - with a magnificent view of the city skyline. The awards ceremony took place on 16 July at the Bold Campus in the Taunus hills.

In his laudatory speech, Peter paid tribute to Rosewood Munich, the winner in the ‘Hotel Opening City’ category, saying: “Buildings with personality also need users and investors with personality and strong ideas, as well as the courage and breath to implement them”.
