We aim to produce outstanding work.

Our Ritter Sport Schokozentrale project has won Gold in the iF Design Award 2024, the highest distinction in the competition. Only 75 of the 11,000 entries received this coveted Gold award. The jury explained its decision as follows, “Ritter Sport’s office environment is a fantastic example of a modern, agile workplace that elegantly conveys the company’s ethos, heritage and brand strategy. The focus on employee wellbeing, collaboration and sustainability is evident in the choice of materials, in the use of colour and in the interplay of open and secluded spaces. It’s as bright and magical as only a chocolate factory can be.”

In addition to the Gold award, our Poggenpohl Shanghai Experience Centre and Casa Mosaico de Belas Artes projects each won a iF Design Award.

We’re delighted to announce that we have won two awards for our projects submitted to Interior Design Magazine’s Best of Year Awards (BOY): one for our Huanan MixC One Mall (in the Shopping Mall category) and the other for our Ritter Sport Schokozentrale (in the Large Corporate Office category).

The winners of this year’s FRAME awards have been announced – and we are amongst them! Our poetic brand space for Walter Knoll at Milan Design Week 2022 won the Trade Fair Stand of the Year category. Many thanks to the grand jury who selected our project! We are thrilled to quote jury member Serge Haelterman, Creative Director at Creneau International: “A marriage of poetry and sustainability. Well done!” The Rimessa dei Fiori was the venue for Walter Knoll once again this year. And who knows, maybe we’ll meet up again there soon?

The award ceremony for the 10th German Interior Design Prize (Deutscher Innenarchitekturpreis) was held on 29 September 2023 in Berlin. The prize is awarded by the bund deutscher innenarchitekten. Three winners were selected from 25 nominated projects. We’re delighted to have won first prize for our restaurant La Visione. The prize goes to Markus Schmidt, Project Director in our Stuttgart studio, but for us it honours the entire project team. We would therefore also like to congratulate: Arsen Aliverdiiev, Peter Ippolito, You Seok Kirschenmann, Lingling Li, Claudia Lira Grajales, Simranpreet Singh and especially Charlotte Scheben, who was instrumental in supervising the project.

Our colleague David Schwarz from the Berlin office accepted the award on behalf of the team. It was presented by Petra Stephan, Editor in Chief of AIT. We would also like to take this opportunity to thank the entire jury: Pia A. Döll, Prof Sabine Keggenhoff, Martin Thörnblom, Barbara Ettinger-Brinckmann and Susanne Wartzeck.

The winners of this year’s Red Dot Award have been announced, and we are thrilled to have achieved four stunning wins in the competition! This remarkable feat not only showcases the breadth of our capabilities to bring diverse projects to life, but also underscores the trust bestowed upon us by renowned brands to guiding them towards innovative and transformative workspaces. It serves also as a testament to our international standing.
IFG has obtained three of these awards in the category of “Spatial Communication – Interior Design”. One award was received for the workplace environment at Hassia Group’s offices in Bad Vilbel, distinguished by its design that features communicative spaces fostering a shared corporate culture.
We were also honored with an award for our design of the new Ritter Sport Offices in Waldenbuch. Covering 4,200 square meters, the space incorporates the iconic color blocking from the packaging and features a “chocolate café” and visible “Schoko- und Kakaowerkstatt” (chocolate and cocoa workshop), allowing for interactive flavor creation. Additionally, the offices provide versatile working environments with exchange areas, meeting spaces, and flexible work zones.
The third interior design award we received for our “Spring Feast Restaurant” located in the Chinese city of Chaohu, a popular destination for tourists and wellness enthusiasts. Surrounded by breathtaking landscapes, we designed a restaurant that captures the essence of the natural waterscape, creating a dynamic and immersive dining experience.
The 4th award we attained in the category of “Fair Stands – Stands & Booths” for our fair presentations of furniture manufacturer Walter Knoll at the Milan Design Week 2022. In this event, we transformed the Rimessa dei Fiori, a former flower warehouse, into a captivating temporary brand staging that literally let it blossom again, creating remarkable moments and inspiring encounters.
Finally Brunner Future Works has won in the category of „Website – Microsites“.

2022 draws to a close for us with three awards in New York. Our restaurant Spring Feast has won the ‘Casual Dining’ category at the ‘Best of Year Awards’. There were also honoree places for Modern Solutions Design Headquarters (Medium Corporate Office) and Yango Sales Center Songjiang (Residential Sales Center). What a way to wrap up the year!
