Axel is truly an ‘identity designer’. His broad interest and insatiable curiosity for artistic and cultural forms of expression awakened his fascination for everything to do with design from an early age. It’s his motivation to develop design solutions that give people orientation and brands a distinctive personality. Axel's particular strength is his ability to keep an eye on the big picture and every little detail of the realization.
He has more than 20 years of experience in strategic driven design development in multidisciplinary teams. Axel and his team excel in translating our clients’identity into tangible results ranging from brand identity systems to spatial communication – always with a strong guiding idea as a basis. Many of Axel’s projects have won nationally and internationally renowned design awards.
Much of the work on which Axel has collaborated for Ippolito Fleitz Group has gone on to win nationally and internationally renowned design awards. He is a member of aed e.V. (Association for Promoting Architecture, Engineering and Design in Stuttgart e.V) and the AGD (Alliance of German Designers).
