Shaping the future of work and work environments.

Brunner Future Works

Brunner aims to be a source of inspiration and strategic partner for workplace innovations in the context of New Work – in joint dialogue between Brunner as a contract furniture manufacturer, architects, planners and retailers. A micro website marks the launch of this new venture, and will develop into a central platform for Brunner’s transformation of the working world arm. Brimming with ideas to transform spaces, it is a source of inspiration for everything to do with New Work. It invites you to join Brunner in reflecting on new organisational structures, reconsidered collaborations, sustainable planning and their influence on corporate culture, and to find a compelling design response to them.

Work worlds of the future as spaces of potential
The core content of the digital experience is formed by five theses on the topic of New Work. They provide food for thought to better understand the shift that is taking place in the workplace and in working environments, and to help develop your own ideas for responding to them. Brunner positions itself as a contact partner for shaking up and modernising existing structures. To this end, Brunner opens up new spaces and stimulates new thinking. We implement this guiding principle in our design, and have created four virtual spatial panoramas in which visitors can immerse themselves.

The focus of the Cafeteria is on our relationship to nature and the communicative experience of eating together. Health and productivity go hand in hand here. The Lab workshop and seminar areas are staged as fast-moving, adaptable tech spaces. Constant change and changeability are conceived of as a modular ecosystem. The Middle Zone is an evolving landscape with multiple potential uses: Movement, creativity, informal exchange and stress relief all figure here. Finally, the conference rooms of the Meeting panorama play with transparent, reflective, billowing elements.

The four large-scale, immersive panoramas invite visitors to embark on a voyage of discovery. Each panorama can be explored intuitively on all devices, using the cursor or swipe gestures. While the view product function can be used to bring all Brunner products to the fore, offering the various configuration options.

Island hopping through worlds of inspiration
Three islands fuel your dreams of the future. ‘Work wonders’ celebrate the contemplative moment of escapism – as the best ideas are born in the most beautiful places. As long as we have the right set-up, we can work anywhere – even on a river raft. Which is why we show our verdant Brunner PARA VERT room divider standing on a raft in the middle of a body of water for ‘work-a-holic’. And the fact that a digital meeting is no longer a workaround solution is demonstrated by the ‘work-a-round’ island, where the round A-Bench is set up around a campfire in the desert – a camp for physical and digital participants alike. Provocative and stimulating at the same time, such future scenarios raise the question of how we will all work in the future.

Interdisciplinary and holistic
The three question rooms invite visitors to enter into dialogue with Brunner. Through them we show that Brunner does not think in terms of ready-made solutions, but is open to guiding the process as your trusted partner. In this cooperation, our client once again benefits from our interdisciplinary strengths. As workspace experts, we investigate the topic of work worlds, as product designers, we look at the furniture collection, and as brand space and brand communication designers, we create a dynamic perspective on the future. Future Works: the future of work is an enjoyable one.
