Aërias tells a tale of lightness, with an airy yet characterful form. It appears as a semi-transparent layer within the surrounding space and enriches the scene with its iconoclastic structure and fascinating shadow play.

A supremely comfortable seat and backrest are woven over a meticulously milled, moulded wood frame in our personal interpretation of traditional Viennese wickerwork. The meshwork is enlarged and reinterpreted using leather strips, which brings an entirely new quality to an accustomed structure. High-quality craftsmanship characterises the design and epitomises the ClassiCon brand.

In cooperation with three selected German artisanal enterprises, our design explores the limits of what is possible with moulded wood, leather meshwork and frame construction. The uniquely light form, materials combination and meticulous attention to detail all result from this dynamic design process.

Whether as a chair or as an armchair, Aërias integrates into different living and working worlds as an exceptional and exquisite furniture piece. The chair teams up particularly well with our Pegasus Home Desk – also available at ClassiCon. Whereas the graceful armchair really makes a statement in open, light-filled lounge areas.

Aërias is an identity object with a formal concision and an unmistakable personality.

Aërias is a wanderer between different worlds: the age-old, traditional craft of wickerwork, reinvented using elegant, haute couture leather, set against a high-tech, wood frame.
