From the outside, the exhibition stand appears as a closed unit. Long strips of gauze create a space, which consciously distances itself from the bustle of the surrounding trade fair. The strips of gauze display the new visual as well as different people that represent their own ‘recipe for life’ in a visually arresting manner. Their unusual poses combined with the translucent walls, through which the interior space can be divined, animate visitors to enter the exhibition stand. A large space unfolds within – an oversize kitchen as a symbol for the core expertise of BERNDES.
Sharing tastes, sharing knowledge. A trade fair presence for a cookware manufacturer.

BERNDES is a leading cookware brand and Germany’s largest frying pan manufacturer. To respond to strong consumer demand and the flourishing market for cookware, ippolito fleitz group was commissioned to translate the company’s completely reinvented brand identity into an exhibition stand. “What is your recipe for life?” asks BERNDES in its corporate communication, thereby showing that cooking and enjoyment of life are about much more than the sum of useful kitchen utensils. Instead an attitude to life is conveyed, promoted and proclaimed, and standards are raised that go beyond the norm. ippolito fleitz group precisely implements this attitude in space – in architecture and content.
